Description

In this work, a British author expresses his views on the ways in which the colonists and Great Britain could peacefully resolve their differences. Written in the wake of American protests against new taxes imposed by Parliament on the colonies, the author insists that the people of Britain bear a much heavier tax burden than the colonists do.
