Description

This document is the Declaration of Sentiments issued by the participants in the Seneca Falls Convention of 1848. At this gathering in upstate New York, 342 women and men wrote a document demanding that women be allowed to share the same rights and privileges as men. They modeled their statement on the Declaration of Independence.
